In December of 2005, I challenged myself to make a sculpture a day for a month. I used the structure of an advent calendar, but the subject matter had little to do with that tradition. Who needs shepherds when you can have a vampire poinsettia?

I wanted to see if I could explore this theme while avoiding human skulls. That's too easy.
